ANCHOR BOND GARAGE FLOOR SYSTEM
Consists of a Primer coat of
Anchor Bond Water Base Primer and Two coats of Anchor Bond Chemical
Resistant
ANCHOR BOND GARAGE
FLOOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PREP:
- Sweep entire area
clean that will be coated.
- Mix 1 part muriatic
acid to 8 parts water (Always add acid to water).
- Using a sprinkling
can, apply to floor (Only do a few hundred feet at a time.)
- The product is working
if you see a yellow color accompanied by a rotten egg smell.
***If you do not see
this you will have to go to a 5 to 1 ratio (Water to Acid) or even lower.***
- Allow acid to work on
its own. When it stops bubbling, scrub the floor with a stiff bristle broom.
- Vacuum up the water
and acid and repeat until the entire area has been washed with acid.
- Wash with water twice
(2) to make sure all acid is removed, and scrub each rinse.
- Wet vac entire area.
- Let stand over night
to dry.
PRIMER
COAT:
- Mix 1 Part of Water
Base Primer Resin to 3 Parts of Water Base Primer Hardener
- Mix thoroughly for one
(1) to two (2) minutes.
- Mix only what you can
use.
APPLICATION
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Using paint brush
provided, brush around edge so you keep product off the wall.
- Roll product down on
floor using 3/8” nap roller (250 sq. ft. per gallon).
- If texture is needed,
as you roll down primer, go back while primer is still wet and seed floor to
rejection.
- Broadcast sand by
throwing into air and letting it settle on its own.
- Make sure you cover
entire floor in sand. You will be able to sweep excess sand.
- Use the concrete
squares as a guide; do one square, then seed, then move onto the next.
- Let cure for 6 hours.
URETHANE COAT
- Sweep Excess sand and
vacuum floor to get all sand off.
- Using paint brush
provided, brush around edge so you keep product off the wall.
- Mix 4 Parts Urethane
Resin to 1 Part Urethane Hardener in bulking tools provided.
- Again using concrete
squares, roll down urethane, rolling from top of square to bottom of square,
then work left to right.
- Paint the entire area.
2nd URETHANE
COAT
- Sweep floor clean.
- Using paint brush
provided, brush around edge so you keep product off the wall.
- Mix 4 Parts Urethane
Resin to 1 Part Urethane Hardener in bulking tools provided.
- Again using concrete
squares, roll down urethane, rolling from top of square to bottom of square,
then work left to right.
- Paint the entire area.
